In photography I find a fragile moment where something is irreversibly revealed.  I generally stage my photographs or rather create performances / temporary installations because I want to look at the world with my own vocabulary.

I test how close I can get and actually how far I am, how much is revealed and how much remains a secret.  I sometimes create personas that strip the person in the picture from their own identity, at other times I just create moments that bring other people and places into my private world. I linger between knowing what’s going to happen and being completely surprised by it; probably  the most beautiful aspect of what I like about photography.
